implementation of closed loop voltage controller for PV systems

hello,

I am a new arduino user and working on my very first project. The project I am working on involves the use of a voltage controller using a PI controller in a closed loop system. I have read through many articles regarding the implementation of PID controllers in arduino and have grasped the method of implementing it in arduino platform.

However, I'm still uncertain on how to implement the negative feedback loop.

I have the gain of the negative feedback loop in the form of a laplace function and don't know how to implement it in practice.

Any suggestion/idea/advise is highly appreciated.

Hi Tom,

The control I am trying to establish is a DC voltage control used in PV systems alongside with MPPT. The controller takes in voltage error and gives out duty cycle. That is

Duty cycle = kp (voltage error) + ki (sum of voltage error during an interval)

The duty cycle is then fed back to get the voltage used to calculate error.

I have included a .png file with the schematic of the control.
