Implications of configuring the crypto chip for Arduino IoT Cloud


I'm quite new with Arduino boards and connecting them to the cloud, like Arduino Create IoT Cloud, and not familiar with how the crypto chip works.

I was going to go through the Getting Started process of connecting my MKR Wifi 1010 board to Arduino Create IoT Cloud, when I noticed that it needed to configure the crypto chip in order to connect it to the cloud.

Will configuring this chip permanently bind my board to Arduino Create IoT Cloud, or am I later able to also connect it to other cloud providers, like Azure? In other words, the crypto chip can be re-configured if needed?
