Downloaded a sketch by Karsten Schmidt on TV IR controllers. Have a "new to me " set without a controller. Would like to explore and make an Arduino UNO driven controller to do the job. Manufacturer sites are not helping. Thanks in advance,

The problem is almost certainly in the code that you have not posted but it could be in the circuit that you have not posted or described or one of the components that you have not told us about might not be appropriate.

C++ does not have an import statement. If your code does, it is NOT Arduino code.
