When I'm trying to import the zip file attached, TVoutBeta1", I get the following error:
"Specified folder/zip file does not contain a valid library"
I've downloaded the archive, and I have this following theory:
The contents of the file (folder structure) is not the standard for the Arduino IDE, so you get this error.
I haven't unzipped it, as it says not to do.
Why not? I've always manually unzipped libraries and they work as they are supposed to.
However, if you unzip the archive "as it is", you will end up with three different libraries instead of one (thus, the error).
But wait... there are good news! You can unzip it "as it is", and the examples WILL STILL WORK (be compilable at least), I just tried that.
Yes, you will end up with three libraries; but just one will appear in the examples sub-menu.
In a nutshell, it's OK to unzip it, but as it is... ;)
