IMU data extraction to an SD card

I'm looking for ways to improve aerial 3D mapping data, and started looking around for solutions to log IMU data of camera position. I have good seven years of rotary and delta wing flying, but so far I haven't too much handled Arduino boards, and I'd like to get some tips and conformation that I'm heading to right direction.

I'm looking to:

  • Record IMU data of camera position
  • To a SD / MicroSD
  • Around 200-300€
  • Compact size is a plus

So far I've been thinking of.

  • Arduino UNO R3
  • 9-Axis SEN-10736
