In Arduino, how to modify the RTC of ESP32 to use an external 32.768HZ crystal.
A search on the web turns up several reports indicating than people have had poor results when adding an external 32 kHz crystal.
If you do try, the crystal won't be temperature compensated, and therefore won't keep time nearly as well as a DS3231 RTC module.
Thank you very much for your reply, I want to try the crystal solution first, it will save some cost.
