In member function 'long int IRrecv::decodeWhynter(decode_results*)':

hi im try to do a universal remote control and im new with IR, i download IRremote libraries from https://github.com/shirriff/Arduino-IRremote/tree/experimental im already do this:

"This is the IRremote library for the Arduino.

To download from github (GitHub - Arduino-IRremote/Arduino-IRremote: Infrared remote library for Arduino: send and receive infrared signals with multiple protocols), click on the "Downloads" link in the upper right, click "Download as zip", and get a zip file. Unzip it and rename the directory shirriff-Arduino-IRremote-nnn to IRremote

To install, move the downloaded IRremote directory to:
arduino-1.x/libraries/IRremote
where arduino-1.x is your Arduino installation directory

After installation you should have files such as:
arduino-1.x/libraries/IRremote/IRremote.cpp"

im using this code

/*
 * IRrecord: record and play back IR signals as a minimal
 * An IR detector/demodulator must be connected to the input RECV_PIN.
 * An IR LED must be connected to the output PWM pin 3.
 * A button must be connected to the input BUTTON_PIN; this is the
 * send button.
 * A visible LED can be connected to STATUS_PIN to provide status.
 *
 * The logic is:
 * If the button is pressed, send the IR code.
 * If an IR code is received, record it.

Moderator edit: CODE TAGS - WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT?

To install, move the downloaded IRremote directory to:
arduino-1.x/libraries/IRremote
where arduino-1.x is your Arduino installation directory

Horsecrap. Downloaded libraries do NOT go in the core libraries folder. They go in the libraries folder in the sketch folder.

im using this code

That is your sketch. The error is in the cpp file.

Why are you downloading an experimental copy of a library?
