In need of ideas and opinions....

Just recently got an Arduino Uno and having a blast with it!

I was looking to try my hand at putting my passion of hardware and apply it but the integration of hardware and software is NOT my forte.

I just don't know where to start....

Simply put:

I'd like to press a button, use the Arduino as a middle-man, and have that being interpreted as a keyboard press ("g", "w", "e", etc.)

Is this possible? If so, what are a few ways (conceptually) of going about this? Also - if you have any other little extensions or tips I'd love to hear them!

Thank you for your time! :)

It's my understanding this can act as an HID device... http://www.pjrc.com/teensy/

A word to newbies who may be tempted to follow Guyt's example and put serial prints into interrupt service routines: don't.

Thanks for the quick replies!

That Teensy Board is pretty nice... certainly caught my eye....
