Independent Study

Hopefully this is the right section to post this in, but I had a question about learning Arduino/microcontrollers. Next year in my school, I'm going to have the opportunity for an independent study in robotics. While the resources on this website are great, I was wondering if there was a specific book that anyone could recommend for learning robotics/microcontrollers/electronics. It doesn't need to be Arduino specific since I already have seen many of the Arduino specific books.

You could get a subscription to Nuts And Volts magazine.

And SERVO magazine...

And maybe Elektor and Circuit Cellar magazines...

My advice -- just get an arduino and get started by using the examples. Simple fast and effective...

Try taking a look at some of the stuff here for the FIRST Robotics Competition
