Indication for resurrection of ancient threads

If there any chance the user interface can be modified to indicate when a thread has been raised from the dead by a new poster. By that I mean things like this ESD Personell Grounding Tester (RFID, Label Printer, SQL, Keyboard) - Project Guidance - Arduino Forum

Alternatively, if a thread has been dead for 18 months perhaps it should be made 'read only' or something like that. 18 months seems like a reasonable time scale as beyond that the likelihood of any of the original participants still being around decreases rapidly.

I just found a thread from 2011 that was revived a few days ago  And both participants are still around

This has, by the way, been suggested before (a few times I think) and it does not seem to impress the website owners

My own 2 pennies worth.

If the resurrection is a valid continuation and the OP is still around I don't have any issues with that.

If it is simply a HIJACK / SPAM or other nefarious reasons please report it.

Sometimes it is nice to see the "This fixed it for me but I had to do this to get it to work" which is a value added post.
