Hello, I have a project and I want to see if it is possible to get an accurate real time coordinates (x,y) for my Robot. It is always indoors. Is it possible to use 3 Beacons to triangulate the location of the arduino (which is on my robot)?
Search for "beacon" in the upper right hand of this page to see previous similar projects. I think the general answer is that it will be complex at best.
Try Posyx;
Ought to do the job nicely ................
and if there is any other easier way to track where my robot is indoors, I am open for suggestions

Well its such a common request on here, asked most weeks, that if its possible, it ought to be easy to find alternatives.
Pozyx appears to be pretty easy to use.
Overhead cameras connected to a PC with image analysis/tracking software works extremely well. Or, consider the Arduino-compatible Pixy (CMUCam 5), which can track two-color markers.
bottom line: the shorter the wavelength, the more precise the measurement
sound is: you must be joking
ultrasound is: you must be batty.
radio frequency: not likely
infrared is : maybe
visible laser is: the best you can realistically attempt
pozyx: right after I win the lottery. not before
