Induction motor malfunctioning

So the problem is we have alot of induction motors and other single phase motors in our plant automated through plc system. One of the motor 400kw is powered by soft starters. Now issue is the motor suddenly stopped during normal plant operation and whole line tripped off. First we thought there may be some plc issue, after troulbeshooting we found no error.

Then we check that motor winding , junction box and its circuitry. Everything was ok, now question what we should check more to trace the actual issue?

Did you check the motor windings from phase to phase and phase to ground with a 500 volt (or better) megger or (Hi-POT)?

540 HP motor on single phase?

That's what I was thinking. :grimacing:

Did you check the "soft starter" while it was hot?

I suspect the fault lies with the Arduino , I take it there is one ?
