Inductive spikes protection?

Hello,

I am using an ardumoto shield (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9815) to drive a small 6V dc-motor. From the schematics I am not clear if the snubber diode protection is built-in or if I have to take care of it. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Andrea

if in doubt, put one on,

costs pennies, saves worries.

Yes, that board has the diodes built in - they are D1 through D7 on the schematic.

Thanks!
