Hello, I am new to the Arduino community but have spent a few hours these past days looking at all the neat projects people have done.
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction towards sending an IR signal and whenever another IR receiver receives it, it can get a message on the Arduino LCD such as “Hello” or whatever the text is.
I’m not trying to stack too many questions on at once but I’d like this IR emitter to be sound activated. So if there is a loud enough noise it will send a signal and the emitter across the room can receive text on the LCD screen.
Thank you so much for any pushes in that direction. I have an idea on how to do it but want to make sure I have everything before I order all the parts.
