i tried it, but it didnt help
any other idea?
fortunately i could fix the .h problem, but there is some kind of other problems. can anybody help me?
What version of IDE are you using and where did you get the code that is generating this error. Have you tried redefining it using "byte" ?
i'm using arduino version 1.0.5-r2. i got the code with a starter kit from ebay. should i copy that here?
I don't know how we can help you if you don't post the code (using "#" CODE TAGS toolbutton)
here is the code:

WHERE IS THE LIBRARY ? I DON'T HAVE THAT. WHERE IS THE LINK TO IT OR THE ATTACHED ZIP FILE ?
IR HEADER COMPILER ERROR.docx (18.2 KB)
i got the code with a starter kit from ebay
What is the source of this code (file ?/copied from a website ?)
Post the link where you got the code or attach the file.
Where is the library ?
i've already attach a code, but here is the original .doc file what i got. maybe it can help
The title of your post implies problem. You are getting compiler errors. I have asked you twice for the library information and where this library is located , like physically, on your computer, as well as the link to where you got it. We can go around in circles forever but until you answer those questions you will get nowhere. Understand ?
