Infrared laser tag for drones

. Hello, I'm new to the board.

I want to develop a device that attaches to drones that allows them to track, shoot and record 'hit's on participating drones using an infrared laser, like laser tag. Is this a practical idea, and how can I find someone with experience to help me?

Any help, advice or referrals greatly appreciated.

I'd try a 360° surround camera, for both detecting other drones and hits. I also would use laser pointers with visible beams, for both development and realistic star wars feeling.

A word of warning, firing any sort of laser in the direction of an aircraft (including drones) is illegal in the US. The FAA doesn't screw around with this type of stuff so you should probably avoid using a laser.
