Install to Mac OS X

Hi,

I try to install the IDE'program on my MacBookPro. The OS is Mac OS X Lion.

I downloaded the installation file from Arduino site . This file is 'Arduino_018_fr-1.dmg'. When i make a double click on this file to install the program, a new window appear and ask to me a password. I don't understand this message and i don't know what is this password?

Can you help me to resolve this problem.?

Thank a lot by advance.

best regards.

Jacques

I recommend you download the latest version of the IDE:
http://arduino.googlecode.com/files/arduino-1.0.1-macosx.zip

Thanks for your answer.

But when i download this file, i obtain an .exe file , not a .zip file..... (Arduino.exe) . When i make a double click on this file, the Arduino'IDE is displayed...... There are no Arduino folder created......

So i cannot install driver... What can i do ?

Beste regards.

Jacques

I downloaded the link above and got the file "arduino-1.0.1-macosx.zip". I unzipped it and had "Arduino". There is no EXE file, just an Arduino app bundle which runs fine.
