Installation ESP8266 ERROR

Hi,

I am working with Arduino 1.8.5 the latest version available on Arduino web page. I am trying to install ESP8266 environment in my Arduino IDE to work directly with ESP8266. I have some problems with this. I did the following:

1- I went to this web page: Installation · ESP8266 Arduino Core

And I followed the instructions in Installation Boards Manager part.

2- Tools >> Board >> Boards Manager and in this point, I can’t get the ESP8266 package to install it, instead of that, I get this error message from Arduino:

http://downloads.arduino.cc/packages/package_index.json file signature verification failed. File ignored.
http://arduino.esp8266.com/stable/package_esp8266com_index.json file signature verification failed. File ignored.

I would like to solve this problem because I want to work with ESP8266 device.

Hi every body,
Before using the present way to try to get an answer, I have searched around for a long moment on this site the way to write a new post : unfortunately, I have been unsuccessful.
So, I use it, and, Segundo, please receive my apologizes to interrupt your question.

My question is the following :

HOW CAN I WRITE A NEW POST ON THIS FORUM ?

I have an important (for me) question to ask, and I am sure a lot of people using this forum will be in position to provide me with a very simple (for them) answer.

(to the moderator : I understand you perhaps will delete the present message. If so, could you anyway be kind enough to provide me with the answer to my question? - This is the only way I have found to get my answer.)

Try this:

  • Click the link after File > Preferences > More preferences can be edited directly in the file. This should open the Arduino15 (or similar name depending on OS) folder.
  • Delete all files in that folder except for preferences.txt. Please be very careful when deleting files from your computer. When in doubt back up!
  • Try the Boards Manager installation again.

Something is going wrong for me.

I am logged in.
On the top of the page "How to use this forum - please read", there is a menu :

"HOME BUY SOFTWARE PRODUCTS LEARNING COMMUNITY SUPPORT" I click on "COMMUNITY"

It comes :

"COMMUNITY
FORUM
BLOG
PROJECT HUB
USER GROUPS
PLAYGROUND
SUPPORT"

I click on "FORUM"

It comes :

"Using Arduino
Installation & Troubleshooting" etc.

Then , I click on an appropriate section as I did to choose th post of Segundo Garcia.
But :

There is no button "New Topic" at the bottom of the page as it appears on the example.
Nor "Hello MyName" at the top of the page as on the example.

My impression is that I am on a wrong page. Any suggestion?

I have already tried your solution, but it does't work either.

If anyone has any other ideas to solve this problem let me know .
