A SHOUT OUT to Sterretje! 8)
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction and downloaded the USB drivers for my clone Nano board. Skeptical about downloading from a ch website, but I got the driver successfully installed. Below are the parameter that helped facilitate success:
Win 10
Arduino Nano clone
ch340/ch341 USB chipset-chips have no markings
Programmer-ArduinoISP
COM4
Verbose command line output
Before sketch/upload/update:
Solid RED pwr LED
Blinking RED "L" LED
After successful upload:
verbose command line output
AVR device initialized and ready to accept instructions
Successful sketch upload
Power LED still RED
"L" LED is now OFF
I assume that this clone Nano has only red LEDs with no test LED off of pin 13
Not out of the weeds yet, still have to connect it to and control my HW-0515
2 CH PWM sq. wave generator.
Glad you are back into hardware but keep the SW dev dreams alive!
