Hi My current project is some minor control and data logging on my tractor puller. As the tractor is located in a blacksmith where the air sometimes are heavy with iron dust i dont want to bring my normal laptop to the puller. there fore i have invested in a cheap second hand XP laptop fore use at the puller. I cannot install the drivers to get connection between my XP laptop and arduino board- How do i do?
-Just for info i have the drivers installed on both a Vista and a Win 7 laptop, where i dont have any problems. so it is not because i havent tryed.
Update: I have just followed the step-by-step screen shot help on XP installation but when i get to the upgrade installation i get a message:"a section for installation of services in this INF file is invalid" so no success so far. -all security is checked off as the laptop is not allowed to connect to the internet. -No firewall.
