Integrating Arduino with a Single Axle Weighbridge or Onboard Weighing System?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum and excited to be part of this community! I'm currently exploring the idea of integrating Arduino with a single axle weighbridge or an onboard weighing system for a project we're working on at Griffith Elder.

Has anyone here worked on something similar before? I'm particularly interested in:

  • Types of load cells or sensors that would be compatible
  • Recommended Arduino boards for handling weight data reliably
  • Tips on calibration and accuracy in field conditions

Any insights, experiences, or suggestions would be hugely appreciated. Looking forward to learning from you all!

You can use any loadcell you like.
Depending on the specofic application, almost any Arduino will work
Calibration would be application specific.
You can achieve almost any accuracy you need, subject to the limits of electronic circuit design
