Interactive Analogue S-Video Triggering

Hi everyone, I haven't played around with arduino's in quite some time and had an idea.

I would like to trigger a drum to switch between two live analogue s-video feeds on a crt or projector display.

Every time the drum is hit, the video feed would switch between video 1 and video 2.

I was thinking of having a piezo sensor taped to the base drum with a gated sensitivity that I can modify

example: range 1-10 and anything over 8 = bang trigger

Let me know if this is possible?

That should be possible. Did you already find a good relay for switching the video signals?

I used to do stuff with composite and s-video, and composite video can be switched with an NPN transistor. I think I made some simple adapters to convert between the two video forms like below.
