Interconnecting multiple H-bridges

I need to connect several H-bridge ICs to drive some coils (for a flip dot display).
I'd like to ask if you see any issue with connecting H-bridges in they shown on this schematic. (clamping diodes are not shown here).

Usually motor is connected to the same H-bridge, but in my case I connect coil to several bridges... Can this work?

I searched on this subject and couldn't find any relevant information :frowning:

So isn't that what you started with in reply #9 here?

Similar. But I didn't realize I need to wire same inductor to 2 different H-bridge ICs. I never worked with H-bridges until last night and afraid to burn few that I just got.
In theory it seems like it should work, in reality I don't know, so I thought I'd ask someone more knowledgeable then me...

It's the same thing. You're just connecting the 2 halves of the package differently.

Perfect! Thanks a lot for confirming!
