Hi, I have been following this tutorial http://takenapart.com/?p=3 very closely but I can't seem to actually establish a telnet connection outside of the router. The wl-520gu has backfire 10.03 on it and pulls a dhcp address wireless from another router in my house bridges that connection to it's own lan network. I have a computer set up on both wl-520gu lan and the external lan. I can ping both interfaces of the wl520gu but as soon as I put power into the arduino mega, the ping drops simultaneously on both computers. Since I can't ping the wl520gu then I can't telnet to it like I want to. Why are the wlan/lan interfaces going down as soon as the arduino is plugged in? What do I need to do to get this to work? Thanks in advance for any help in the matter.
so no one has any tips/hints/ideas on this?
sorry mate, i cannot open that url.

I'd first suspect incorrect wiring, such as a possible short. Have you used a multimeter to see if there is a voltage change when the connection is made, or noiced if an led changes in brightness?
