Interfacing Arduino With A Flash Application

Greetings there!

I am a final year student working on a wearable media that will interface with a Flash Application that I have created. The wearable media will be laced with vibrating circuits to which when the vibrations are triggered, Arduino would read the signals and process it for Flash to trigger a movie clip to be played or a sound to play. I know we'd need a serial proxy of sort to allow Arduino to communicate with Flash but I was wondering if I can get some advice from anyone here as to how best I should start? I have no background in programming hardware as it is my first time working on a physical computing project. Thus, would deeply appreciate any input I can get on how I can programme flash to read these vibrating signals from the jacket and channel them to Arduino to trigger the various output I need?

Much thanks for your time on this. Do look forward to hearing from anyone.

Deep blessings to you,
candice
