Interfacing TTL Linkspire Camera, Help a Beginner?

I bought a LinkSprite Serial TTL Camera and a Mega Arduino and I need to interface them for my grad project and I have no idea how to do so. I just want to take pictures from the camera and use Open CV on it, but just want to take pictures for now. any help ?

Check the last version as of today(04/09/2013) as it now works with software serial reliably up to 19200 bds (example sketch in the downloads section)!.
