Hey there, thanks for the reply, and sorry for the delay in response and library updates. I have a product going to market in a few months, so I’ve had to focus on finishing that up . Plus I’ve been struggling with my health and recovering from an emergency surgery I had a few months ago.
So LC NKC had to take a back burner for a few weeks. Sorry about that. Just wanted to make sure nobody thinks I abandoned the project. Quite the opposite, in fact! Things’ll just be slow for a few months while I wrap up that product.
But I appreciate your input! That’s definitely something I would like to integrate and work on as neglecting those formats of print could make it difficult for people to just switch libraries without modification of their code. And I’m really trying to eliminate the need for existing code modification to improve plug-n-play compatibility.
As for the SPI print function, I was waiting on a second NKC LCD display that I could put in SPI mode permanently for testing (because the jumper to set it requires soldering to set, and I don’t want to have to keep resoldering it for testing), so I commented it out until I could work on it further. But I got busy and haven’t had the chance to finish and push the updates to GitHub. Sorry about that. I expected to have that fixed a while ago. But it should work fine if you uncomment it. And I’ll do my best to get that wrapped up officially this weekend. Thanks for you guys’ patience, understanding, and help!
