My dashboards suddenly stopped working since last night, and all the switches of my home automation system keep turning on. If I turn them off locally, the dashboard turns them back on. My weather station doesn't work either. Everything is dead. Now after many hours some values are updated again but the graphs linked to them are not. I have had a plan for 2 weeks and have paid for a year in advance. The IoT Cloud is regularly unavailable or the values are not updated. Do more people suffer from this???, and can I trust that this system works reliably most of the time???
There is a service degradation at the moment that is being worked on. See updates on the status page: https://status.arduino.cc/
We apologise for the inconvenient
In general, since the load and traffic on Arduino Cloud has been increasing heavily in the past year, we now have a dedicated team that is working on infrastructure reliability. Results will be tangible in the next months. The above status page (which collects a number of automated checks) was created as part of that effort.
Thanks for your reply. That's too bad. I have found that the IoT Cloud is not suitable for home automation. In the past 2 weeks, devices spontaneously turn on or off because the status on the IoT Cloud is not updated.
I have a similar problem. Since start of Cloud problems around midnight my sensor variables have yet to all recover data flow. Most did but one is still locked at the value it took around midnight, ~16 hrs ago. Rebooting ESP8266 and sensors or re-logging the Cloud does not improve problem. The sensor in question functions fine when read locally on an UNO.
How do I re-establish Cloud data service on my nonfunctional variable?
