i'm interested if the following is feasible:
my car's on board computer used a wheel/button combo to navigate thru all the menus.
i would like to take all those inputs (8 total) send thru an arduino to my iphone to control the iphone interface on the go as well.
any ideas if this is doable and how?

What is the electrical interface to the wheel/button device?
How do you know that there are eight inputs?

it's a button and a twisty thing.....
8 functions:
twist left
twist right
push up
push down
push left
push right
push in
and the menu button.
paralleling the lines out of the unit will fee the duino, but after that.....
i'd like it to communicate with the iphone.
maybe scroll thru all the apps with twisting the knob, select with pushing it in
just an idea....
