Maybe some duct tape?

At a minimum, some pictures would be useful. What kind of connector does it have? How much of the screen interaction is the phone's responsibility and how much is the screen's? Most likely, far too much is the phone's responsibility, so making the Arduino responsible for the interaction (managing data, refreshing the screen, etc.) is not going to be possible.
