Some people say it's impossible because Ipod does not have XBee support.
Is there a project known which describe the communication and
what XBee modul is suitable (if possible) to communicate with iPod/ iPhone ?

If you paid attention in the video, there is something plugged into the ipod that the XBee is connected to. The iPod/iPhone is just sending serial data for the XBee to broadcast.
If you figure out what is plugged into the iPod/iPhone, though, let us know.
