IR Senors and image movement

I have done some basic code in Processing using mouseX and mouseY in order to get images and geometry to move. I want to use IR sensors to trigger this action now and I am having a problem with how to code that into processing. I will be using an Arduino Uno board with PIR sensors. I am trying to make sure I get everything to function properly.

Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Well to start with, wire up one of your IR sensors to the UNO (search the forum for examples), read values into an an analog pin and send them back to your PC using serial so you can view them in the serial monitor and confirm that you've got the wiring right. Then add some more sensors. Then worry about Processing.
