IR Sensor for Glucometer device

I have Accu-Check Performa Blood Glucometer device. It have IR data transfer function. But I have no IR Sensor Device to transfer data from device to my computer(Windows). Is there DIY project for Blood Glucometer device IR Sensor. Sorry for my english.

Welcome to the Arduino forum. Your question caught my attention since I have diabetes and use one of the devices once a week.

Since you chose not to provide any links to the subject, I used Google to see what you are referring to and find only a device sold by Roche to interface between the IR port and a smart phone. So, I am quite sure the whole thing is a secret that only Roche knows.

In my country can not order this device. So i want to make my own DIY device like infrared reader device.
