Ird operation reversed

I need help revising sketch as i have reversed the operation on the IRD and now it is analog >200 when no train is present and < 200 when train is present. basically i moved the emitter from the board and placed it across the tracks and the train now blocks the signal when present. I tried to simply reverse the greater than /less than but now it wont upload HELP

Whatever you do, don't cross the streams.

not sure how to do that or what you mean crossing streams?

Not sure what you mean

in the original sketch the ird reflected the beam off the passing train reducing the output to less than 200 analog. I moved the emitter to a position across from the receiver and now the train blocks the beam and the output goes high( 1089) when the train is present I need to modify the sketch to reflect that change

Take 10 deep breaths. Read the forum guide. Ask your question again, but better.

I'm not getting any of this.

With explanations and glossary.

not sure how to provide a better explanation, but here goes, I am using IRD to detect the presence of a train on the track. in the original sketch the IRD was sending a low output when the train was present. I modified the sensor by removing the emitter and placing it on the opposite side of the tracks and now when the train is present the IRD sends a high output and I need to update the sketch verbage to reflect that change. the best explanation i can make.

A what?

ok so the code worked with a 0 and now you want it to work with a 1 but you do not post the code so someone could give you a few pointers.
