Is any way to use HM-11 as rfid 2.4Ghz key

Is any way to use HM-11 as rfid 2.4Ghz key which will work at distance 1-3m from second HM-11 module.
Key part must work from small CR2032 atleast 6month.

Working principes

MAIN UNIT (RECIVER connected to ARDUINO) Waiting till KEY UNIT (STAND ALONE) WILL SEND IT PARING REQUEST after that it have to send request id and password for key device . KEY UNIT must answer then MAIN UNIT verify recived data end open door if its correct.

KEY UNIT must sleep till see MAIN UNIT request (to save battarey) .

Is it possible to that thing.

I need some rfid key that will work at distance 1-3m from door to indetify person and open door.

I'm neewbie =) it will be my first project ...

Looks feasible to me.

But I'd search for a stand-alone module, that does not need an additional Arduino for working as a key.

Plus I've ordered NRF24L01 maybe it can be more energy efficient ?

Need real examples because I've never work with Arduino before so it will my study work...
