Hello,
I have been using Arduino for a long time and I always prefer original products, but today I was disappointed. I bought Arduino Uno Mini Limited Edition from one of the Turkey Arduino official distributors in this link. (Distributors — Arduino Official Store) As in the images I attached, there was no serial number both in the "Serial Number" field on the box and in the field on the back of the PCB where the serial number should be written.
I first reported this situation to Arduino from this link. (https://www.arduino.cc/en/contact-us/) They requested photos of the product from me and then said that they thought the product was an original product. I also informed that there may have been a problem during the production phase. Then they said that I had to contact the authorized distributor I bought. The statement of the authorized distributor I bought the product from was as follows: "The products are original Arduino branded products and are delivered directly to us from Italy." In addition, they reported that the serial number was not included in the other products in their stock.
Users estimated that there would be a total of 26,000, from 000 to 999 for each letter from the letter A to the letter Z. But in this case, is the Arduino Uno Mini Limited Edition really a limited edition?
