Is BLE Wireless programming possible? (Bluetooth 4.0+) (CC2541 HM-10/11)

I have read through many forums about using a Bluetooth 2.0 module HC-05 to wirelessly program a microcontroller. I am currently using the BLE module HM-10 and would like to understand if this is possible and how to do it. I have not seen any mention of BLE modules like the HM-10 being used to wirelessly program an MCU and I would like to know why.

I've never come across anybody doing it with BLE and have not tried. It is probably the wrong system, BLE is not designed for fast high volume data and is considerably slower than Bluetooth Classic.
