Hi
Im building a tiny pcb which will run 3-5 of the newer rgbw addressable LED's. I know each led needs a 0.1uf cap and most sites say put a large upto 1000uf cap across the power near to the LED's Do I need this which such a small number and will a tiny smd cap do it or just be pointless? The who project is to be tiny and hopefully will only weight a few grams so a bit 1000uf cap is not going to fit.
I would use one or two 0.1uF ceramic capacitors, maybe one on the first and one on the last, but you will probably get away with not using any. However if you have any other external ICs I would include the capacitors on them.
