Is DMXSimple or ArduinoDMX library MKRNB1500 compatible?

Trying to use MKR NB 1500 to control DMX lights and I have used DMXSimple and ArduinoDMX (with RS485 module) libraries without positive outcomes.
Has anyone used MKR NB 1500 to control DMX lights ?

Selecting the DMXBlink example from the ArduinoDMX library and compiling with the MKR NB1500 gives no compile errors so it may work okay. I don't have any MKR boards to try with the hardware.
