I made a thread where I'd like to edit some of my posts, as well as the thread's subject line. However, I don't see an option to do so. Is this still possible with the new format?
Hmm,
I think so.
Mine has a Pencil symbol that I used to edit this post.
As a Moderator, I used to be able to edit other User's posts (to add code tags , etc.) but I don't see that option readily available now.
Interesting. I have such an icon in this thread, but not in my earlier one that I actually want to edit.
Is it possible that we're only able to edit posts made after the update?
Maybe unless the thread is too old. Below a thread from about 3 weeks ago
There is still a pencil (and it works).
May have to click the the dots ... next to Reply to see the Pencil
Here's a screenshot of the first post of the thread I'd like to edit. I've clicked the ellipsis and expanded the menu. Alas, no pencil. I posted this four days ago (link here).
I added a post just earlier this morning, after the update, and I can edit that:
Edit (hah): I was in error in the above screenshotted post. I can edit that one, but none of the posts from before the update.
