Is it actually possible to detect a heart attack using MAX30102?

Hi there, right now I am planning to make a device which can detect a heart attack by using MAX30102 (which I'm waiting for it to ship).

After a small research, I found out that a heart attack may be caused by a sudden increase in heart rates or the SpO2 level (the amount of oxygen that your blood is carrying) is lower than 90%.

So my question is: Is it possible to use this MAX30102 heart rate sensor to detect a heart attack?

PS: Also, can an AI be useful in this kind of project. In the future, I might going to track my sleep using heart rates.

Thank you.

Ask a professor at your medical school!

Probably not.

I have a recent model Apple Watch, and it specifically says it can not detect a heart attack. It has all the same sensors or similar. I can look at my SpO2 by itself. I do have an AFIB detector, but Apple specifically says that is NOT a heart attack indicator.
