His meter had 2 out of 5 stars! It had to be a good-en! My Fluke didn't have any stars. 
On a serious note, my Fluke 79 has briefly been put across 480volts AC while in ohm reading mode. I had been troubleshooting a bunch of different pieces... It makes a loud beeeeep until you take the leads off of the live power. I was lucky that it is a good meter. In the book that came with it, they say you can go across live voltage for up to 20 seconds. I have never tested that but, it is nice to know Fluke planned for the possible mistake.
