Is it possible to put an xlr output on the same port as a buzzer??

I want to know if it is possible to connect an amplified speaker instead of a buzzer but without modules.
I have 2 ways to connect either in xlr or in jack.

Does your amplified speaker have a series capacitor to block the DC that the buzzer was using?

Yes but expect to blow the speaker, that is not an audio output.
