Is it possible to use PWM signal controlled by BLExAR to adjust the frequency of a signal generator?

Hi there, I am a engineering student who is fresh to the Arduino. I am now working on a project which I want to control the frequency produced by DDS AD9851 wirelessly. I have an idea that using bluetooth (HC-08), controlling PWM via BLExAR app to produce an analog signal, making two arrays PWM[0 1 2 ... 255] and frequency[1000 2000 ... 256000], thus frequency of sine wave produced by the siganl generator corresponds to the PWM. All the stuff will be connected to Arduino Uno. Is it possible that this idea can work?

We are now a majority of two and growing. Start by posting a schematic, not a useless frizzy drawing. Include links to "Technical" information on each of the hardware items, marketplace links normally do not have the needed info. Also define your acronyms, DDS = Department of Driver Services (Georgia) Doctor of Dental Science... It will take more time to ask your question but the odds of getting a good answer increase a lot.
