Is my arduboy (based on a leonardo) bricked?

Hi there, I got my kickstarter arduboy today and so hav ebeen downloading and setting up all the arduino software and trying out a few games. The first few I tried worked fine, but when I tried this the software complained that 'the programmer was not responding.' On resetting the arduboy, I was met with a blank screen, no noise, etc. The device now no longer shows in the PORT section of the arduino software when I connect it. I do have a lit-up charging LED on it, however. Trying to upload to any listed com port (now just "COM5") gives me an error of no board being connected.
I have tried both Ubuntu and Windows 10 (same PC). Board is an arduboy which is apparently based on/uses an arduino leonardo. No software was added to my PC between the working flashes and the one that failed.

UPDATE: I followed this guide and it fixed it. Need to flash in bootloader mode if it bricks! SOLVED: My Arduboy has died while programming, I think it's bricked - #12 by olmy - Issues - Arduboy
