I bought my arduino in a well-known local online store, that is official DISTRIBUTOR of Arduino mentioned on this website.
Then I would assume it's not a 'fake'. You might just be a little too obsessed with details? 
Here is the 'official photo' from the products page showing a 503X thermofuse. But it's mounted backwards so it too may be a fake:
