Hi,
I'm testing Serial over USB on a Nano 33 IoT. I'm using Arduino IDE 2.3.2.
My issue is I can't see the Serial.begin() statement having any effect.
I basically set up communication to 9600 baud in my sketch, write something to my Nano in the Arduino Serial terminal which is also set to 9600, and see the reply my sketch writes back to me in the terminal.
I then set the baud rate to 115200 in my sketch, keep the terminal baud rate at 9600 - and I can still communicate with my Nano using the terminal.
I've tested various baud rates, and communication always works, even though the sketch and the terminal have different baud rates.
I've also tried communication between a Python script on my laptop and my Nano, and this also works, no matter how different I set my baud rates up in the Python script, eg. Python baud=9600 communicates happily with my Nano set to baud=1000000.
Is it supposed to work like this?
