is stop () a reserved word ?

In the IDE 1.7.11 editing, why does the word stop come up RED when used like this ?

(using this to stop 2 DC motors)

  void stop() {

  digitalWrite(motorA1, LOW);
  digitalWrite(motorA2, LOW);
  digitalWrite(motorB1, LOW);
  digitalWrite(motorB2, LOW);

 }

Changing to allStop() makes it BLACK again

void allStop( ) {

  digitalWrite(motorA1, LOW);
  digitalWrite(motorA2, LOW);
  digitalWrite(motorB1, LOW);
  digitalWrite(motorB2, LOW);

 }

void allStop( ) { }

Seems to indicate that stop() is a reserved /key word, but i can find no reference to it's being so.

But it does not seem to interfere with compiling.

Probably a keyword in one of the libraries. Just ignore it if it compiles; the syntax highlighting is extremely poorly implemented in the IDE.

Thank you :)
