Is the MKR1500 with or without I2S connected to the pins ???

I know that the modem has a I2S output and acording to
https://create.arduino.cc/projecthub/products/arduino-mkr-nb-1500
there is a I2S port.
On the schematics, the I2S (Pin 34 to 37 on the Sara-R4 modem) are NOT connected like Arduino did on the MKR 1400.

What is correct? Connected? Not connected?
If not connected: Why the hell not? Just to save a little money?

The SARA-R410M chip is connected via RS232 on the MKR NB 1500 board. The I2S pins are not connected, as mentioned in the schematics.
Also the NB access class is using the RS232. It looks like there is no need to use the I2S bus of the modem chip. All example sketches via RS232 (and I do myself use the RS232 interface in a project) are working well.

I know that it's not connected on the schema but on this particular arduino website they write it is.
Either one inforamtion is not correct or there are different hardware revisions.

To make a phone call with the modem you need a wired I2S and i see no good reason to not wire those pins.
I use the MKR1400 to call me when it's loud so i can hear what's going on.

This has nothing to do with RS232. Or I2C (S is not C)

Arduino, please wire these pins!
