Is there a difference in addresses between the micro and the nano?

I am trying to make a 1306 work on a micro using I2C.
I have

that I am loading in to both a micro and a nano with a SSD1306 on the a4 and a5 pins.
On the nano it works perfectly but there is a blank screen with the micro, loading a blink sketch into either works perfectly, have I a duff micro or is there some incompatibility between the micro and nano?
thanks.

HI @matelot
Arduino Micro's I2C pins are different from Nano's pins.
Nano A4 and A5
Micro D2 and D3

Yes the wires are in pins A4 SDA and A5 SCL on both units.

But on micro it doesn't work on A4 and A5.
It uses the D2 and D3.
RV mineirin

?
Are you saying I should plug my display into D2 for SDA and D3 for SCL and do you think the library will compensate?
How weird? I have wired it up that way and it works.

Thank you for the information it has almost solved my problem.
I will go back to the using arduino section to ask for help with the program.
